2018 Membership Meeting Recap

Another successful year for meeting, learning, and sharing information.

The Pool Membership Meeting was held on September 13 at the SDA Conference in Keystone. People traveled from every corner of the state to be in attendance, making this year one of the best meetings to date. Dozens of scholarships were awarded by the Pool and SDA funding the registration, lodging, travel, and meal costs of new attendees to the conference.

Our keynote speaker for the Membership Meeting was Dorothy Gjerdrum, and she presented the address on “Organizational Strategic Decision Making.”

CliftonLarsonAllen gave a presentation on the Pool’s yearend financials, while the Pool administrators presented an update on the state of the insurance market, as well as what members can expect for their 2019 renewals.

We closed the meeting with a drawing for several prizes. These included a Chromebook computer, Kindle Fire tablets, Bluetooth headphones, wireless speakers, YakTrax shoe covers, and CSD Pool swag bag prize packages. The grand prize, the Chromebook computer, went to Stan Gengler of Estes Valley Recreation and Park District.

The Pool team had a great time meeting and talking with everyone who visited our booth. We met current members, new prospects, and put faces with names from those we had only previously spoken to on the phone. We answered many questions about our slew of important and relevant programs designed to assist members their coverage, education, and risk management needs. We look forward to seeing all of you back in Keystone next year!
