New CGIA Limits Announced

Legislature has increased the Colorado Governmental Immunity Act tort cap. These caps do not apply to allegations under federal law, such as allegations of employment, discrimination, or civil rights violations.

CSD Pool Receives Top Financial Rating

The Colorado Special Districts Property and Liability Pool is proud to announce that it has earned a Financial Stability Rating® of AAA or “Unsurpassed” from Demotech, Inc., their highest possible rating for a pool or public entity. This means that the Pool’s financials provide a sufficient margin to absorb variance between its anticipated and worst-case scenario of operating results.

2017 SDA Conference Wrap-Up

The annual Pool Membership Meeting was held September 14, at the SDA Conference in Keystone. Both events were a big hit, drawing people from every part of the state. The Pool and SDA awarded dozens of scholarships to fund the registration, lodging, travel, and meal costs to send new attendees and board members to the conference.
